Adventures in the Film Industry since 1998.

I received a life sentence in the Film Industry when my mother put me on a film course as a kid. By the age of 22, I had established my one man production company. Since then I have gained experience in a multitude of roles across every kind of production imaginable. I´ve worked as a director, 2nd unit director, 1st assistant director, cinematographer, aerial cinematographer, gaffer, photographer and even as an editor. More of these through the links from above. The productions have ranged from tightly budgeted art films to high-stakes, 30 million dollar international studio films.
Open to all types of production, I love to discover unique perspectives and solve problems creatively. The ultimate professional satisfaction for me arises from a collaborative work environment, where all team members feel like we are together creating something really special and elevate the level of each other. I have a polite and respectful attitude towards others and I think that should be expected from everyone despite their position. Although I’m based in Helsinki, my work has taken me across the globe, spanning 18 countries so far.
Outside work I enjoy exploring the nature – the sea, forest, and the mountains. I love to spend my free time sailing (since I was a kid), climbing (since 2000), working out at the gym, running, snowboarding (preferably outside the slopes with a splitboard), doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu(enthusiastic beginner), yoga(beginner), football(super good), reading, cooking, baking, and above all, spending time with my family.
