1st Assistant Director

I have a long track record as a 1st Assistant Director. Be the director very experienced or a fist timer, I will help her or him make the project the best it can be. We will together create a good plan with all the department heads and I will make the director´s work easy. I will create the best possible circumstances for the cast and the crew and protect the production from unwanted surprises.

I have completed the Directors Guild of America´s Safety pass training including the following courses:

  • -DGA safety training, general
  • -Environmental safety
  • -General safety and injury and illness prevention program
  • -Firearms safety for the entertainment industry
  • -Location safety
  • -Traditional insert car safety

I´ve participated in several first aid -courses. My free time interests strongly support my work as I can navigate in any terrain, perform (and help the crew and cast perform) in any conditions and drive almost anything from boats to snowmobiles. A year in the Finnish Army´s national service has been an enormous help when doing war and gun scenes. Training martial arts has helped with fighting scenes. Directing short films has helped when doing drama and playing with computers has helped when doing visual effects or anything to do with CGI. Creating schedules and distributing information are my strengths and working with people is the greatest side of the profession.
